The
RSS feeds are one of the quickest and most simple ways of
receiving news. These files update periodically with each new publication and allow the user to subscribe to them with clients like
RSSDeck.
This small program works using
Adobe Air and is practically a desktop widget, with it we will be able to have the latest headlines of each
RSS feed that we add to it directly on our desktop without any problem. The interface is very simple, with a black background and each headline with its own box to separate it from the rest.
For the moments it doesn't have any more options, it simply allows us to add all the sources that we want, personalize them with the name of our choice and read the
headlines. It doesn't
download the complete articles nor will it link them.
Nevertheless, if we are
always connected and we want to subscribe to any web by means of
feeds without having to use very heavy programs or without opening the browser,
RSSDeck is a very interesting alternative.
Requirements: This application requires that you have Adobe Air installed to work.
